Zelenskyy Summarized the Results of the NB8 Summit in Estonia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy summarized the results of the “Ukraine–Northern Europe and the Baltic States” (NB8) summit, which took place on June 9 in Estonia, and identified three key priorities for future work. 

The President identified the intensification of international diplomacy as the first strategic priority, with the leaders of the countries discussing ways to implement it during their meetings. The second key task is to provide Ukraine with additional air defense capabilities and deepen defense cooperation to strengthen security across Europe. 

Zelenskyy identified the third priority as the European integration process in the context of upcoming European Union meetings, emphasizing the need to open all negotiation clusters without delay. The head of state also expressed gratitude to partners for their support of Ukraine and their readiness to intensify sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, emphasizing that only joint pressure can force Russia to end the war.

This was stated in Zelenskyy’s statement.

Ukraine aims to reach production levels of its own long-range weapons that will allow it to fully respond to Russian air attacks.
