A well-known Ukrainian entertainer has lost his wife
Dmytro Oskin, Honored Artist of Ukraine, renowned actor, and entertainer, has lost his wife, Lika.
News of her death broke on May 26 via an official statement from representatives of the Kyiv theater “Osobistosti,” where the artist is currently active.
The news has shaken the Ukrainian cultural community, which is expressing its deep support for the family.
The theater’s administration published a special post to support their colleague during this difficult time.
“The theater expresses its sincere condolences to our wonderful actor Dmytro Oskin on the occasion of his tragic loss—the death of his wife Lika. May she rest in peace,” reads the official statement from his colleagues.
At this time, the exact causes of the woman’s untimely death have not been publicly disclosed.
Well-known cultural figures have joined in en masse with words of support on the theater’s official social media page. “Deepest condolences to Dmytro. A terrible tragedy,” wrote popular Ukrainian actress Olga Sumska.
