Attorney Shevchuk stated that Nosova was handed over in exchange for the release of the Nayem brothers
Attorney Oleksiy Shevchuk stated that the case against attorney Oleksiy Nosov may be linked to agreements that, according to him, allowed the Nayem brothers to avoid accountability.
According to the lawyer, he was the only person who stood up for Nosov after his colleagues and part of the legal community turned their backs on him.
Shevchuk claims that the assumption that Nosov was “traded for his own freedom” has allegedly been confirmed. He also leveled accusations against the Nayem brothers, alleging their ties to the NABU.
Furthermore, the lawyer stated that, according to his information, another participant in the events was supposed to be involved in the case, but instead, Nosov bore the responsibility.
Despite the criticism, Shevchuk expressed support for Nosov and urged him to appeal the court decisions in the appellate and cassation courts. He also stated his readiness to provide legal assistance.
“Everyone really does have the right to make a mistake,” the lawyer noted.
At the same time, the statements made by Shevchuk represent his personal views and assessments. He did not provide any public evidence to support the allegations he made.
