The building of the National Bank of Ukraine sustained damage as a result of a massive Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of May 24.
This was reported by NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy.
According to him, the damage did not affect the institution’s operations, and all necessary restoration work has already begun.
Pyshnyy noted that none of the employees were injured, and the National Bank will continue to operate as usual.
He also said that buildings and branches of other banks in the capital were damaged by the shelling, but there were no casualties among employees.
The NBU emphasized that the banking system will continue to operate stably under any circumstances.
