In the Zvenyhorodsky District of the Cherkasy Region, a conflict broke out between employees of a local business and staff members of the regional recruitment and social support center, during which a starter pistol and a can of pepper spray were used.
According to preliminary information, during the altercation, one of the participants fired a starter pistol, while another used a can of pepper spray.
After the incident, TCC employees took one of the men with them, which served as grounds for law enforcement to further investigate the circumstances of the incident.
The police opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—unlawful deprivation of liberty or kidnapping.
A pre-trial investigation is currently underway, and law enforcement officials are establishing all the circumstances of the conflict and the actions of those involved.
