In the Mykolaiv region, a lawyer was notified that she is suspected of facilitating fraudulent disability claims
The Mykolaiv Regional Police have notified a lawyer of their suspicion that she facilitated the fraudulent registration of a disability for a man subject to military conscription.
For $29,000, the suspect promised the man to help remove him from the wanted list of the territorial recruitment and social support center, as well as to process documents for obtaining a second-degree disability status with a subsequent deferment from mobilization.
After receiving the agreed-upon sum, law enforcement officers detained the woman in accordance with legal procedures. The suspect faces up to eight years in prison for her actions, according to the National Police of Ukraine.
