Nova Poshta is closing its last two branches in Druzhkivka, Donetsk Oblast
The logistics company "Nova Poshta" has decided to temporarily suspend operations at its last two remaining branches in the city of Druzhkivka, Donetsk Oblast.
This concerns branches No. 1 and No. 3, which are closing for the safety of employees and customers. The main reason for this decision is the constant shelling of the town by Russian occupation forces.
The company’s official statement notes that the suspension of service points will take place in stages throughout June. Branch No. 3 will completely stop accepting and delivering parcels starting June 9.
Branch No. 1, meanwhile, will continue to serve local residents until June 18, after which it will also be temporarily closed to visitors.

Company management emphasizes that this step is a necessary measure to protect people’s lives. However, the postal operator assured that it does not plan to completely sever logistical ties with the frontline town.
“We made this decision for safety reasons due to constant enemy shelling. However, we are not leaving Druzhkivka without our services,” Nova Poshta assures.
To provide residents with communication and delivery services, nine parcel lockers will continue to operate in Druzhkivka. Through them, residents will be able to receive essential items, documents, and goods without hindrance.

The company promises to make every effort to ensure these pickup points are regularly restocked and replenished.
“We will do everything possible to ensure their logistics as long as it is safe for our drivers and couriers,” the statement reads.
The company’s employees held the line on the logistics front in Donetsk Oblast until the very last moment. Even amid regular air raid alerts and power outages, staff at the distribution points provided comprehensive assistance to citizens.
“Until the very end, our colleagues continued to work to ensure that the city had essential support: the ability to obtain medicine and food, send necessary items to relatives, charge gadgets during blackouts, and stay in touch with the outside world,” Nova Poshta noted.
