The Central Election Commission has officially registered Mykola Davydiuk as a member of parliament
The Central Election Commission has registered Mykola Davydiuk as a member of the Ukrainian Parliament representing the Holos party. He will replace Volodymyr Tsabal, who previously resigned from his parliamentary seat.
“During today’s meeting, the Commission reviewed Mykola Davydiuk’s application and the necessary documents and, in accordance with the law, registered him as a People’s Deputy of Ukraine,” the statement reads.
It is noted that Davydiuk was elected in the early parliamentary elections on July 21, 2019, in the nationwide multi-member constituency as a candidate for the “Holos” party (listed as No. 27 on the electoral roster).
The CEC noted that he will assume his parliamentary powers upon taking the oath in the Verkhovna Rada.
As reported, on June 1, the Central Election Commission recognized Mykola Davydiuk as an elected People’s Deputy of Ukraine. To be registered as a People’s Deputy, Davydiuk was required to submit documents to the Central Election Commission no later than the twentieth day following the official publication of this decision. In turn, the CEC must make a decision no later than the fifth day after receiving the documents.
