The Ministry of Economy has commented on changes affecting critical enterprises

The Ministry of Economy does not anticipate any significant changes to the criteria for identifying critical enterprises.

This was reported by Economy Minister Oleksiy Sobolev.

According to him, the last review of the criteria took place in early 2025, and now it is time for another audit due to changes in the economic situation and the state’s needs.

At the same time, the minister assured that no fundamental revision of the rules is planned. The changes will be limited to specific adjustments in certain sector-specific criteria, which will be reviewed by the relevant ministries and regional administrations.

Sobolev noted that two factors have the greatest impact on employee retention: wage levels and deferral rules for part-time workers.

Currently, the average wage requirement for such enterprises is 2.5 times the minimum wage.

The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police dismantled a draft evasion scheme in Zakarpattia involving the fraudulent issuance of fictitious draft deferrals.

The Ministry of Health stated that, at the request of the Ministry of Defense, some of the reserved medical personnel may be released from reserve status and enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military structures. The decision is made jointly with the military and regional authorities.
