A 100-year-old woman was evacuated from the shelling in Donetsk Oblast

Soldiers from the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” evacuated a 100-year-old woman from one of the frontline settlements in Donetsk Oblast. Due to the constant threat of shelling, the elderly woman was taken to a safer location. The operation was carried out by military units that assist civilians in leaving dangerous areas near the front line. The soldiers themselves released a video of the evacuation.

An aerial bomb struck the yard

The day before the attack, the couple was repairing the roof of their house, which had been damaged by previous shelling.

A Russian aerial bomb struck the center of the yard. The couple’s niece was killed in the blast, and the man suffered shrapnel wounds.

A 100-year-old woman was also living in the house with them.

After another round of shelling, the military helped evacuate all three residents. The people left the dangerous area in their own car.

According to a soldier, most of the houses in the village have been damaged due to constant Russian shelling.

Local residents were forced to hide and live in basements for a long time due to the threat of new strikes. 

This was reported by a logistics sergeant from the 1st Battalion of the Azov Brigade, call sign “Ahmet.” According to him, the family decided to evacuate after a Russian airstrike hit their yard. 

The evacuation of museums in the Donetsk region has been ongoing for four years and has covered only half of them.

On the night of May 17, a number of military-industrial complex and energy facilities in Moscow and the Moscow region were struck. Strikes were carried out on an oil depot in Durikino, an oil refinery in Kapotnya, the Angstrom microelectronics plant, and the Raduga Design Bureau, which develops cruise missiles.

On the morning of May 16, Moscow also came under attack by drones, causing airports in the Russian capital to temporarily suspend operations.

The "ATESH" partisan movement claimed responsibility for a sabotage operation in the Moscow region, which disrupted the functioning of elements of the Russian air defense system on the outskirts of the capital.
