Russian shelling has left consumers in four regions without power
As a result of Russian attacks on civilian energy infrastructure on the morning of July 20, consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kherson regions were left without power. This was reported by NEC “Ukrenergo.”
The company noted that emergency repair work is already underway in areas where the security situation allows it. Power engineers are working to restore power as quickly as possible to all affected consumers.
At the same time, Ukrenergo urged Ukrainians to use electricity wisely. In particular, they recommend using energy-intensive household appliances between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., when solar power plants operate most efficiently and generate the most electricity.
The company also emphasized that the situation in the power grid remains dynamic and may change depending on the consequences of Russian attacks and the condition of the grids. Consumers are urged to monitor official announcements from their distribution system operators regarding possible changes in power supply schedules.

As a reminder, Russian troops have once again attacked the Kherson region. In the village of Molodizhne, two power utility workers who were working on the street were struck by the attack. Both men were hospitalized and are currently under medical supervision.
On the night of July 19, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. One person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of the attack. Damage and fires were reported in five districts of the capital.
