Photo: A large-scale fire caused by a Russian attack has been extinguished in the Kyiv region
In the Kyiv region, rescue workers have completed efforts to extinguish a large-scale fire that broke out as a result of a Russian attack on the night of July 19. Firefighting operations lasted more than a day, involving over 200 State Emergency Service personnel, aircraft, and robotic equipment.
According to the agency, the flames engulfed two warehouse buildings with a total area of approximately 100,000 square meters.
More than 200 rescue workers and 70 pieces of specialized equipment were deployed on site to address the aftermath of the attack. Firefighting aircraft and robotic systems were also involved in the operation.
“Thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the State Emergency Service units, the fire was completely extinguished. Currently, the building’s structures are being dismantled and doused with water,” the service noted.
The name of the company that was struck has not been officially disclosed. However, according to Ukrainian media and open sources, the “Amtel” logistics complex in the Bucha district of Kyiv Oblast was likely the target of the attack.

As a reminder, on the night of July 19, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. One person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of the attack. Damage and fires were reported in five districts of the capital.
Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov, a special advisor to the president, analyzed the Russian ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv on the night of July 19. He emphasized that enemy agents continue to operate, so it is necessary to be cautious and avoid mistakes.
