An unidentified drone was spotted over the Lviv and Ternopil regions
An air raid alert was issued in the Lviv region on May 27 due to an unidentified drone flying in the area. According to preliminary reports, the drone was also heading toward the Ternopil region.
The Air Force reported the drone’s movement.
On Wednesday morning, around 9:08 a.m., an air raid alert was issued in the Lviv region.
“We urge you not to ignore the danger!” wrote Regional State Administration Head Maksym Kozytskyi, warning of a high threat to Lviv.
A few minutes later, the Air Force reported a UAV in the northwestern part of the region heading toward Zhovkva-Lviv.
At 9:16 a.m., Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi wrote: “An enemy drone is heading toward Lviv. Stay in a safe place!”
Monitoring channels reported one unidentified drone maneuvering on the outskirts of the city. At 09:54, an air raid alert was declared in the Ternopil region, Suspilne reported.
As a reminder, in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, a hit on a business center was recorded following a massive nighttime attack by Russia. It is preliminarily known that people may be trapped in the shelter.
As a result of Russia’s massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv, a shock wave damaged the ground-level lobby of the Lukyanivska metro station.
On the night of May 24, Russian forces carried out a massive combined attack on Kyiv, using ballistic missiles and strike drones. All districts of the capital came under fire.
