Since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has committed more than 200,000 war crimes and must be held accountable.
At least five people, including a pregnant woman, were killed in overnight Russian attacks in Chuhuiv, Zaporizhzhia, and other regions, and more than 30 others, including children, were injured. Russian troops also struck a truck carrying bread in Chernihiv.
“Unable to achieve its goals on the battlefield, Russia is intensifying its terror against the civilian population. The world cannot turn a blind eye to the scale of this… Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has already committed over 200,000 war crimes in Ukraine. It must be held accountable,” Sibga emphasized.
The foreign minister called on the international community to increase pressure on the Russian regime and raise the cost of aggression for the Kremlin.
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko has officially concluded his busy working visit to the United States, during which he held a series of strategically important meetings in Washington and New York. The main topics of the extensive talks were strengthening cooperation in the field of international legal assistance, combating high-level corruption, investigating serious international crimes, and imposing new, stringent sanctions against the aggressor.
Earlier reports indicated that Prosecutor General Kravchenko had not signed documents regarding Mindich’s extradition for two weeks.
The Office of the Prosecutor General has denied rumors of Ruslan Kravchenko’s resignation.
