Russian troops wounded 15 people during shelling of Zaporizhzhia
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have once again carried out large-scale shelling of civilian infrastructure and residential areas in the Zaporizhzhia region.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
As a result of the enemy strike on the regional center, 15 civilians were injured, including an infant.
Law enforcement officers quickly arrived at the sites of the strikes to provide first aid and document yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation’s army.
The invaders attacked the region using various types of weapons to cause maximum destruction.
The Russian forces carried out 205 artillery strikes, launched 18 airstrikes, and deployed a missile and 392 drones, mostly of the FPV type. Such intense fire caused extensive damage in many settlements.
In total, police received 89 reports of damage to critical and civilian infrastructure.
As a reminder, in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district, a business center was hit following a massive nighttime attack by Russia. Preliminary reports indicate that people may be trapped inside the shelter.
As a result of Russia’s massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv, the shock wave damaged the ground-level entrance of the Lukyanivska metro station.
On the night of May 24, Russian forces carried out a massive combined attack on Kyiv, using ballistic missiles and strike drones. All districts of the capital came under fire.
