Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked Ukrainian Defense Forces positions 51 times across various sections of the front. The situation remains most tense in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy has concentrated its main efforts and is conducting the most intense assault operations.
Russian artillery continues to shell border areas. Today, Sopych, Rohizne, Korenok, Budky, Malushyne, Atynske, Bachivsk, Ulanove, Yastrubshchyna, and Seredina-Buda in the Sumy region, as well as Luzhky in the Chernihiv region, came under enemy fire.
The invaders carried out airstrikes on Pustogorod and Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy region.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, three combat clashes occurred between Ukrainian defenders and Russian forces, one of which is still ongoing. In this sector of the front, the enemy dropped four guided aerial bombs and carried out 27 shelling attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the Russians attempted three times to break through the defenses near Prylipka and Zapadny. One battle is ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions once in the Shyikivka area.
In the Lyman direction, defenders repelled six enemy attempts to advance near Borova, Chervonyi Stav, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, and Ozernyi. Three engagements are still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully halted four attempts by the Russian army to advance near Zakitne and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy has not yet launched any offensive operations today.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, defenders repelled four attacks by Russian troops near Ivanopil, Illinivka, and Rusyno Yar. One engagement is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of the day, the invaders have attempted 16 times to dislodge the Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Shakove, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Vilne, Bilytske, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Novopavlivka. One engagement is ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces attempted to advance once in the Oleksandrohrad area
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled seven enemy attacks in the areas of Rybne, Vozdvyzhivka, Rizdvyanka, Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, and Huliaipole. Two engagements are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces twice stormed the positions of the Defense Forces in the areas of Stepove and Stepnogorsk.
In the Dnipro direction, the invaders have not yet carried out any offensive operations today.
In other sectors of the front, the situation remains largely unchanged. The enemy has failed in its attempts to advance.
