Zelenskyy promised to launch 600 drones and missiles at Russia in a symmetrical response

Zelenskyy promised to launch 600 drones and missiles at Russia in a symmetrical response

Ukraine aims to reach a level of production for its own long-range weapons that will enable it to fully counter Russian air attacks.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a joint press conference with the leaders of Northern European and Baltic countries during the summit in Tallinn.

The head of state noted that while the Armed Forces are currently repelling the enemy, they still have fewer weapons than the aggressor country. According to the President, achieving parity is a key task for the defense-industrial complex. The head of state emphasized that once Ukraine is able to launch up to 600 missiles and drones per day at targets in Russia, the enemy will truly feel the full consequences of the war it has unleashed on its own territory. A symmetrical response must become the main deterrent to Russian terror against the civilian population and Ukrainian cities.

Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) reported on drones with a range of up to 3,500 km.

Ukraine’s unmanned systems forces announced the destruction of two Tu-142 aircraft and an Iskander operational-tactical missile system at a military airfield in Taganrog, Russia.
