Authorities in Poland are investigating a false emergency call to the home of President Karol Nawrocki's family; a possible foreign connection cannot be ruled out.
This was reported by Polskie Radio.
The incident occurred in Gdańsk following a report of an alleged fire and a sudden cardiac arrest at the president’s family home.
When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they were unable to contact the residents, so they were forced to break down the door and enter the apartment. As it turned out, no one from the family was home.
Polish Deputy Interior Minister Czesław Mrótek stated that the investigation has already made significant progress, and details may be released in the coming days.
Andrzej Derlatka, former head of Polish intelligence, suggested that the incident could be part of a hybrid provocation by foreign intelligence services.
