Poland scrambled its air force in response to Russia's massive attack on Ukraine
The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces has placed its military aviation and air defense systems on high alert in response to Russia’s combined missile and drone strike on Ukrainian territory.

As part of preventive measures, military aviation, ground-based air defense systems, and radar reconnaissance assets were deployed.
The goal of these measures is to ensure the security of Poland’s airspace, particularly in areas near the border with Ukraine.
At around 5:00 a.m. local time in Poland, the air operation was completed, air defense units returned to standard operating procedures, and radar surveillance resumed normal operations.
Polish command emphasized that no violations of Polish airspace were recorded during the Russian attack on Ukraine.
