Search continues in Lithuania for a suspected drone following an air raid alert
An operation is underway in Lithuania to locate a suspected drone that was spotted in the country's airspace several days ago.

According to the Lithuanian Army, the search is being conducted in the Panevėžys and Utena counties. The Military Police, the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union, as well as drones and light aircraft are involved in the operation.
Authorities are also gathering information from local residents and urging them not to post any potential findings on social media, but to immediately notify emergency services if they spot any suspicious objects.
The incident occurred on Thursday when radars detected an object resembling a drone in the country’s airspace, prompting an air raid alert. Later, Lithuanian authorities reported another similar object.
According to the Lithuanian Minister of Defense, both objects disappeared in the Utena area.
Lithuania will also receive over a hundred air defense missiles from the U.S. following the State Department’s approval of the relevant agreement.
