Vance acknowledged the differences between the U.S. and Israel regarding Iran

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated that Washington and Israel do not always see eye to eye on Iran, and that the United States’ top priority remains reaching a nuclear agreement with Tehran.

According to Vance, despite the strategic partnership between the two countries, differences may arise between them on certain foreign policy issues.

“The U.S. and Israel have many shared interests. But there are also situations where our interests diverge, the vice president emphasized.

Vance stressed that the key goal of U.S. policy toward Iran is to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons.

According to him, the U.S. administration believes that over the past year and a half, it has succeeded in creating the conditions for a long-term diplomatic resolution of the Iranian nuclear issue.

“Israel may or may not like this, but we believe it is in the interests of the United States. And we will continue down this path, because that is precisely why the president was elected, Vance stated.

The vice president’s statement indicates the U.S. intention to continue promoting a diplomatic resolution to the Iranian nuclear issue, even if some allies have a different view of the situation.

At the same time, Washington continues to insist that any future agreement must ensure that Iran cannot develop nuclear weapons and must guarantee long-term stability in the Middle East.

He said this in an interview with Fox News.

Iran has stated its readiness to simultaneously continue the negotiation process and respond to possible pressure from the U.S. Tehran emphasized that it does not rule out decisive action in the event of attempts to restrict shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian officials stressed that the country is ready to defend its interests while remaining open to diplomatic dialogue.

Iran has seta condition for a peace agreement with the U.S.

Earlier, Iran launched a missile strike on the Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, where U.S. military personnel and contractors were stationed. The attack resulted in minor injuries among personnel and damage to American drones. The incident occurred amid U.S. attempts to negotiate an extension of the ceasefire with Tehran.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is alive and continues to interact with his inner circle, though he does so cautiously and primarily through written messages and intermediaries. Officials in Washington note that his activity has been increasing recently.
