Armenia could secure visa-free travel to the EU within two years — Pashinyan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the country could move toward a visa-free regime with the European Union within the next two years.
Pashinyan announced this.
According to him, Yerevan is actively advancing in its dialogue with the EU on visa liberalization. Earlier, the European Union noted Armenia’s progress in implementing the relevant plan, and during the first EU–Armenia summit in May, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that the parties are moving toward a visa-free regime.
Earlier, Pashinyan informed Putin that he would not attend the May 9 parade in Moscow
Earlier, Armenia appealed to the EU to send a rapid response team to counter Russian influence.
The EU confirmed its support for Armenia’s European aspirations.
Pashinyan also stated that Armenia is seeking EU membership.
