Ukraine Has More Than Doubled Its Pasta Exports: Who Are the Biggest Buyers?

Ukraine has more than doubled its exports of pasta and couscous. In the 2025–2026 marketing year, 29,500 metric tons of these products were exported, which is 129% more than the previous year.

According to the Ukrainian Flour Millers Association, pasta and couscous showed the highest growth rates among all grain-processing products.

Overall, exports of grain-processing products during this period reached 543.4 thousand metric tons, an increase of 1.2% compared to the previous season. As is traditional, bran accounted for the largest share—365.9 thousand metric tons.

The largest importers of Ukrainian pasta were Germany (6,400 metric tons), Moldova (3,000 metric tons), the United Kingdom (2,700 metric tons), Romania (2,6 thousand metric tons), and Latvia (2,3 thousand metric tons).

At the same time, exports of cereals and granules decreased by 17.6% to 26,200 metric tons. The largest buyers of these products were Moldova, Israel, Romania, Costa Rica, and Lithuania.
