Michael Saylor’s company could own 1 million BTC by the end of 2026
Michael Saylor’s firm Strategy currently holds 738,731 BTC in its portfolio. To reach the milestone of one million bitcoins, the company would need to acquire an additional 261,269 BTC.
At the current pace, Strategy purchases around 6,158 BTC per week. With Bitcoin priced at approximately $85,000, this represents about $22.2 billion in investments.
Since the beginning of 2026, the company has already bought 64,948 BTC, including 17,994 BTC acquired in the past week alone. This strategy continues to strengthen Strategy’s position as one of the largest corporate holders of Bitcoin.
Analysts suggest that if the company maintains its current acquisition rate, Strategy could control nearly 5% of the total Bitcoin supply by the end of 2026. Such accumulation could have a significant impact on market supply and demand dynamics.
