The Israeli Foreign Ministry has rejected allegations regarding Ukrainian grain

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar responded to statements from the Ukrainian side regarding the arrival at the port of Haifa of a ship allegedly carrying Ukrainian grain exported by Russia.

He emphasized that the allegations are not supported by evidence. The comment was a response to reports that the Israeli ambassador had been summoned to the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with this situation.

In his post, he stressed that diplomatic relations between friendly nations should not be conducted via social media or the press: “Diplomatic relations, especially between friendly countries, are not conducted on Twitter or in the media. Accusations are not evidence. No evidence has yet been provided to substantiate these accusations.”

He also noted that no request for legal assistance had been submitted prior to the public statements and emphasized that this matter would be reviewed.

"You didn’t even submit a request for legal assistance before turning to the media and social media. This matter will be addressed," reads Saar’s post, published on social media platform X on Monday.

As reported, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga previously stated that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry would hand the Israeli ambassador a note of protest regarding the arrival in Haifa of yet another ship carrying Ukrainian grain that had been seized by Russia.

As a reminder, Ukraine has lodgeda protest with Israel over grain from the occupied territories.

In Israel, a new party called “Together” is being formed to oppose Netanyahu.

As a reminder, Israel recently agreed to a 10-day ceasefire with Lebanon and announced the start of a move toward a diplomatic settlement; however, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that the war against “Hezbollah” is not yet over and military operations will continue. He also emphasized that the country is combining diplomacy and force, seeking to simultaneously deter threats and advance peace agreements.

Additionally, Israel has fully lifted martial law for the first time in a month and a half. This became possible after the ceasefire with Lebanon and Iran has held so far. The country is gradually returning to normal life.
