Forecasters predict the end of the heat wave in Ukraine on July 3
On Thursday, July 3, the weather in Ukraine will change as a cold front moves through the country. Most regions can expect brief showers, thunderstorms, and squalls in some areas, while the heat will gradually begin to subside.
According to the forecast, brief showers and thunderstorms will occur across nearly the entire territory of Ukraine. Dry weather will persist only in the eastern regions.
A meteorologist warns that due to significant temperature contrasts following a prolonged heat wave, thunderstorms may be accompanied by strong gusts of wind.
“Find a safe place to park your car now. And, as always, those sensitive to weather changes should take extra care of themselves—a change in the weather often takes a toll,” noted Natalka Didenko.
In the western regions, as well as in the Zhytomyr, Kyiv, and Vinnytsia regions, daytime temperatures will drop to +24…+29 degrees.
At the same time, the heat will persist across most of Ukraine—daytime temperatures will reach +30…+34 degrees.
In the capital, brief showers with thunderstorms are also forecast for July 3, and squalls are possible in some areas.
After a hot day with temperatures exceeding +30 degrees, the air in Kyiv will cool down to about +27 degrees as early as Thursday.
“And in the coming days, even cooler, more comfortable air is expected,” concluded Natalka Didenko.
This was reported by meteorologist Natalka Didenko.
Intense heat persists in Ukraine: up to +34° in Kyiv.
On June 29, intense heat reaching up to +38 degrees is expected in parts of Ukraine.
