Russia fails to make gains on the North Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk fronts – Muzychuk
Russian forces have failed to advance on the North Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions. The enemy continues active assaults and uses artillery.
This was reported on television by Ruslan Muzychuk, spokesperson for the Ukrainian National Guard.
“We can see that the enemy has not achieved any success in this direction: they have failed to consolidate their positions or achieve even minor tactical breakthroughs,” he said.
Over the past day, eight combat engagements were recorded in these areas, indicating a relatively low pace of enemy assault attempts.
“In this sector, the enemy often uses guided aerial bombs, as they do across northern Kharkiv region. Recently, these are small infantry groups, but there are still assault sorties where the enemy tries to penetrate our positions via border areas, using artillery strikes and the tactics of sabotage and reconnaissance groups,” Muzychuk noted.
He added that the Ukrainian side is continuously monitoring enemy movements and resources in this sector, as Russian logistics here are relatively simple, allowing them to quickly resupply ammunition and equipment.
Russian forces have concentrated their main efforts in the southern areas of Pokrovsk, but small enemy groups are active across the entire agglomeration.
