Prices in Ukraine rose by 10.9% over the year: biggest increases in alcohol, tobacco, and communication
Over the past 12 months, prices in Ukraine increased by an average of 10.9%. The sharpest rise was seen in alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, as well as food and communication services. Meanwhile, clothing, footwear, recreation, and culture became cheaper.
Data from October 2025 compared to the same period in 2024 shows alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 18.6%, food and non-alcoholic beverages by 16.4%, and communication services by 15.6%. Recreation and culture decreased by 0.2%, while clothing and footwear dropped by 6%.
Analysts note that rising prices for food and essential services may affect consumer purchasing power and shape future developments in Ukraine’s consumer market.
