Attacks on Russia's oil infrastructure are causing approximately $100 million in damage every day

The Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that, as a result of strikes on Russian oil infrastructure facilities, Russia is losing approximately $100 million daily.

This was reported on the Unmanned Systems Forces’ Telegram channel.

According to UAS Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, following a series of strikes on oil logistics facilities along the Primorsk–Ust-Luga–Sheskharis–Tuapse route, daily oil shipments have decreased by approximately 880,000 barrels.

The UAS notes that at the current market price of Urals crude, this is equivalent to losses of about $100 million daily.

“The attacks have disrupted the stability of oil transshipment at key ports, complicated logistics supply routes, and forced the redirection of flows to alternative transshipment routes,” the statement reads.

It is also noted that following damage to the infrastructure of the “Sheshkharis” terminal near Novorossiysk, the Russian side attempted to redirect supplies to Tuapse.

The SBS reported that this was taken into account during the planning of operations. In particular, on April 16, a strike was carried out on the Tuapse Oil Refinery, after which a large-scale fire broke out there, which, according to the Ukrainian military, is still ongoing.
