Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a substantive meeting with the President of the UAE

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss further cooperation and security issues. The head of state emphasized the importance of ongoing substantive communication between the two countries and expressed his gratitude to the UAE leader for his support of Ukraine. 

During the meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyy recalled that Ukraine had previously supported the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the Persian Gulf region during a difficult time for them. He emphasized Ukraine’s readiness for further joint efforts to strengthen both nations and noted the deep respect the Emirati side has for Ukraine and Ukrainians.
