A 15-year-old girl died in a traffic accident while riding an ATV near Kyiv
A fatal traffic accident involving two teenage girls occurred in the village of Petropavlivska Borshchahivka in the Bucha District.
According to preliminary information from law enforcement, a 15-year-old girl was driving a Bashan 330 Explorer EFI ATV along Zelenyi Hai Street. At some point, she lost control of the vehicle, which then veered off the roadway and crashed into a concrete pillar.
As a result of the accident, the teenage driver sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Her 15-year-old passenger was also injured and was taken to the hospital.
In connection with the fatal traffic accident, Kyiv Region police investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement officials are determining all the circumstances of the tragedy.
