Russian shelling has damaged the logistics center of the "Ranok" publishing house in Kyiv

Russian shelling has damaged the logistics center of the "Ranok" publishing house in Kyiv

Another attack by the occupiers on the capital has resulted in the destruction of the energy infrastructure at the "Ranok" publishing house, including damage to an electrical substation and the destruction of diesel generators. Despite significant material damage to the logistics center, none of the employees were injured. Due to damage to power lines and equipment, the publishing house has been forced to redirect urgent orders to a backup warehouse.

This was reported by the publishing house’s CEO, Viktor Kruglov.

The online bookstore plans to resume full operations as early as Friday. This incident is the latest in a series of systematic attacks by the Russian Federation on the Ukrainian book industry. Previously, the “Faktor-Druk” printing house in Kharkiv, the warehouses of the “Nash Format” and “Smaki” publishing houses, as well as a number of bookstores in Kyiv and Dnipro, were damaged by enemy shelling.

The damage to the logistics hub complicates the distribution of literature, but the publishing house continues to fulfill its obligations to readers. Law enforcement officials are recording the effects of the strikes for further documentation of Russia’s crimes against civilian infrastructure. Work is currently underway to assess the extent of the damage and restore power to the facility.

Russia cynically called the massive attack on Ukraine a “retaliatory strike”

Over 21,000 customers were left without power due to the Russian Federation’s attack in the Lviv region

As a reminder, overnight, the Air Defense Forces managed to neutralize 693 aerial targets, including 41 missiles and 652 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine is not accidental. In this way, Russian leader Vladimir Putin is attempting to divert the world’s attention from international events, particularly U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to China.
