In Kyiv, traffic lights will turn red during the minute of silence
Starting September 15, Kyiv will begin phased implementation of the “All Red” traffic light mode during the daily minute of silence at 9:00 a.m.
In the first phase, the measure will apply to 18 traffic light intersections in the central part of the capital, where cars, pedestrians, cyclists, and public transit will come to a halt for one minute each day.
The start and end of the commemoration will be announced via the public address system, and at 9:01 a.m., the traffic lights will resume normal operation. This measure will not apply during an air raid alert; however, emergency and special vehicles with sirens will be allowed to continue moving. The event is intended to honor the memory of those who died as a result of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

Traffic patterns on the Podil and Pivdenny bridges in Kyiv will be adjusted during alerts.
The municipal enterprise “Farmatsiya” has adjusted the operating procedures of its pharmacies based on the level of security threat. This decision was adopted in accordance with a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and a decision by the Kyiv City Defense Council to protect the lives and health of citizens.
