Traffic will be restricted in downtown Kyiv for two weeks: where to expect traffic jams
Traffic will be partially restricted in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi District starting August 25. These temporary changes for drivers will remain in effect for two weeks—until September 8.
The restrictions are due to roadwork. Drivers are urged to take these changes into account when planning their routes, as traffic jams may occur on nearby streets. Where exactly will traffic be restricted?
The Kyiv City State Administration (citing the municipal corporation “Kyivavtodor”) reported that traffic will be partially restricted in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital:
Velyka Vasylkivska Street;
Taras Shevchenko Boulevard.
How long will the restrictions remain in effect?
It is reported that the changes for drivers are scheduled for the period:
Tuesday, August 25;
through Tuesday, September 8.
What are these changes related to?
During the aforementioned period, specialists from the Shevchenkivskyi District Road Maintenance and Operations Department (RMOD), responsible for the repair and maintenance of roads and related structures, will be:
repair the asphalt concrete pavement;
lower the curbs.

Finally, the Kyiv City State Administration reported that the municipal enterprise:
apologizes for the temporary inconvenience;
asks drivers to take these restrictions into account when planning their routes.
