Photos have emerged showing the damage to the North Bridge following a drone attack

During the attack on October 4, the Russians attempted to strike the suspension cables supporting the capital’s Northern Bridge. However, the drone struck the roadway, piercing right through the bridge deck.

Currently, one lane of the bridge is closed. According to State Emergency Service personnel working at the site of the strike, the Russians’ target was the cables—the steel cables that hold up the bridge’s supports.
