Big Bang launches anniversary world tour with concert in Goyang
South Korean group Big Bang launched its 20th-anniversary world tour with three “XX: Cosmos” concerts at a stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. It was the group’s first full-group concert in nearly nine years. According to The Korea Herald, more than 100,000 fans attended the performances from Friday through Sunday.
Big Bang currently performs as a three-member group: G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung. During the final concert, the musicians promised to release more music and perform throughout the anniversary year and beyond. They also hinted at possible new releases following the digital single “Biiig,” released on August 19 for the group’s anniversary.
Hits and solo performances
The nearly two-and-a-half-hour show included a medley of “Fantastic Baby,” “Hands Up” and “Tonight,” as well as “Blue,” “Loser,” “If You,” “Bad Boy,” “Haru Haru” and “Lies.” The members also performed solo numbers: Daesung presented “Universe,” “Hando Chogua” and “Look At Me, Gwisun”; Taeyang performed “Bad,” “Live Fast Die Slow” and “Ringa Linga”; and G-Dragon performed “Power,” “Crayon” and “Crooked.”

The trio then sang “Bang Bang Bang,” “Stupid Liar” and “Sober” together, and performed “Biiig” live for the first time. The performance featured a live band, moving LED structures, pyrotechnics and synchronized lasers.
Tour to continue until 2027
For the encore, Big Bang performed “My Heaven,” “Sunset Glow,” “Last Farewell,” “Feeling,” “Flower Road” and “Still Life.” “Still Life” retained T.O.P’s original vocals: the song was the last one Big Bang recorded as a four-member group.
The “XX: Cosmos” world tour will continue until February 2027. Starting in September, the group is scheduled to perform in North America and Europe, and from October in Asia and Oceania. In total, the tour will cover 19 cities.
