Bookmakers have named the favorites for Eurovision 2026

Tomorrow, May 12, the Eurovision Song Contest will kick off, with Finland considered the favorite to win. 

According to updated data from the analytical portal Eurovision World, representatives from Greece and Denmark are also among the top three contenders.

Analysts predict the highest chances of victory for the Finnish duo. The country is represented by renowned violinist Linda Lampenius alongside singer Pete Parkkonen with the dynamic song “Liekinheitin” (“Flamethrower”).

As of May 11, their probability of winning is estimated at 38%. This high figure makes Finland the clear favorite among all of this year’s contestants.

Greece confidently holds second place in the rankings. Performer Akylas, with the song “Ferto,” currently has 13% support from bookmakers.

Denmark, represented by Soren Torpegaard Lund, rounds out the top three. His lyrical composition “Før vi går hjem” (“Before We Go Home”) has received 11% of the experts’ support.

The top ten contenders also include representatives from France, Australia, and Israel. Singer Monroe with the song “Regarde” has 7%, and Delta Goodrem with the track “Eclipse” has 6%.

Israeli performer Noam Batten with the song “Michelle” currently holds a 4% chance. The next positions, with a combined 3% share, were split among Malta, Romania, Italy, and Sweden.

Specifically, Malta is represented by Aidan with the song “Bella,” and Romania by Alexandra Capitanescu with the song “Choke Me.” 

Italy has bet on an unusual duet between singer Senhit and British star Boy George with the track “Superstar.”

Sweden rounds out the top 10, with singer Felicia performing the song “My System.” Competition in this part of the standings remains extremely fierce due to the minimal gap in the numbers.

According to bookmakers, Ukraine is currently in eleventh place. Experts estimate our representative’s chances of winning at 2%.
