Cortis to release expanded mini-album with two new songs
K-pop group Cortis will release an expanded version of its second mini-album, GreenGreen, for the first anniversary of its debut. According to The Korea Herald, GreenGreen_playextended is scheduled for release at midnight on Monday. Two new songs — Pack It Up and MoneyMoneyMoney — will be added to the original mini-album’s six tracks.
Premiere of the new tracks
The new tracks were performed for the first time during the opening night of the Put Your Phone Down Birthday Party concert, held on Saturday at Hwajeong Gymnasium of Korea University in Seoul. According to Big Hit Music, the songs were created during work on GreenGreen but were not included in the initial tracklist.
The agency said the two songs most fully reflect Cortis’ current musical identity and develop the themes and musical direction of the original release. All five group members — Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon and Konho — took part in writing and composing the tracks. According to the agency, the songs are based on their everyday experiences and retain the energy and emotions of the initial recording sessions.

Tour and chart result
GreenGreen spent 14 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. The publication notes that this is a record for the longest run of a single album on the chart among K-pop boy bands that debuted over the past five years.
Cortis is also continuing its Put Your Phone Down tour. After performances in Incheon and North America, the group is set to hold three more concerts in Kanagawa, Japan, from September 4 to 6. In total, the tour includes 14 shows in nine cities.
