Harry Waters to lead tour featuring Pink Floyd music — Rolling Stone

In the United States, Canada and European countries, Roger Waters’ son Harry will lead the touring project Legacy — A Pink Floyd Show, dedicated to the music of Pink Floyd. The show, which Harry Waters developed together with his father, will be performed by the Harry Waters Band. Rolling Stone reports this.

Program from four albums

The group will perform only songs from the albums The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. The tour is set to begin in February and cover more than 100 cities in North America and Europe.

Roger Waters’ team has prepared the visual component of the concert. It will include images created by Roger Waters while he was still working with Pink Floyd, as well as new visuals inspired by the show’s repertoire.

Band lineup

Harry Waters will sing and play the organ. The lineup also includes drummer Graham Broad, a longtime collaborator of Harry Waters, who worked with him to shape the set list for the two-hour program. According to Harry Waters, the musicians aim to reproduce the albums as closely as possible to their original sound.

More than 3,000 singers competed for the role of lead vocalist. It was awarded to Canadian Clifton David Broadbridge, who now lives in Nashville. He will lead an ensemble of ten performers.

For more than 15 years, Harry Waters played keyboards and organ in his father’s solo band. In 2023, he performed Animals with Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade and Sean Lennon, and also appeared with the tribute band Brit Floyd.
