Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together gave his first solo concert in the U.S.
Yeonjun, a member of the South Korean band Tomorrow X Together, gave his first solo concert in the U.S. at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. The performance took place as part of Billboard’s “One Night Only” live special project, according to the Korea Herald.
The artist kicked off his set with the title track from his second mini-album, *No Labels: Part 02*. He also performed the songs “Ice Cream,” “Vanilla,” “Baby Wassup?,” and “Long Way Long Ride.” During the show, Yeon-joong performed the explicit version of “Fxxking Star” live for the first time and sang “Ggum” from his solo mixtape as an encore.
The Troubadour has played a prominent role in the debuts of several well-known artists in the U.S. It was there that Elton John made his U.S. debut in 1970, Harry Styles gave his first solo concert at this venue in 2017, and BTS performed there during their first concert in the U.S. in 2014.

Yongjun said he felt more at ease while working on the album and learned to enjoy the creative process more. According to him, the success of his first mini-album allowed him to experiment with a wider variety of musical styles this time around.
The concert in Los Angeles continued the artist’s series of U.S. appearances. He became the second Korean solo artist after Jungkook of BTS to perform on ABC’s “Good Morning America” summer concert series, as well as the first Korean artist invited to the Z100 Summer Bash Presented by Wells Fargo. On Thursday, Yeon-joon also released the music video for “Fxxking Star” and was scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Los Angeles Dodgers’ game against the Milwaukee Brewers as part of Korean Heritage Night.
