Alexander Ponomarev's son spoke about his girlfriend and his personal life
19-year-old Alexander Ponomarev Jr. rarely appears at public events, but this time he made an exception. He attended a private presentation of his father’s—singer Alexander Ponomarev’s—first book and appeared in front of the cameras alongside his girlfriend for the first time in a long while.
During the event, Sasha spoke with journalists and talked about his personal life, his studies, and his search for his calling.
Alexander Ponomarev Jr. attended the presentation of the book “30 Days: AI-Human” with his girlfriend.
However, he decided not to reveal his girlfriend’s name or any details about their relationship. According to him, his girlfriend, like himself, does not seek the spotlight and avoids the cameras.
“She, just like me, shies away from the cameras,” explained Ponomarev Jr.
Alexander himself also admitted that he doesn’t feel very comfortable during public appearances.
After the full-scale war began, Alexander moved to Lviv. Currently, the 19-year-old is studying an economics-related major at Lviv Polytechnic National University.
At the same time, he says, student life isn’t easy for him.
“It’s not very easy for me; I don’t really like studying at all, but right now I’m trying to find my place in this and other fields,” said Oleksandr.
He also recalled his father’s advice regarding finding his own talent and life’s path.
“As my dad says, if you don’t find your talent in life, it’s a sin. I hope I’ll find it—find myself in something,” shared Ponomarev Jr.
Alexander Ponomarev Jr. was born on February 15, 2007, to the singer and his wife, Viktoria Martynyuk.
His parents divorced in 2012, but after the breakup, Alexander Ponomarev continued to maintain a close relationship with his son.
Despite his rare public appearances, 19-year-old Oleksandr is gradually opening up to the audience and talking about his life, studies, and personal plans.
