"MasterChef" Judge Becomes Head Chef for a Yacht Tour

Olga Martynovskaya, a judge on the cooking show “MasterChef,” has landed a new job abroad. She will become the head chef on a luxury yacht that will cruise off the coast of Ibiza. The news was announced shortly after the chef found herself at the center of public debate due to her recollections of animal abuse during her childhood.

“MasterChef” judge Olga Martynovska will soon be working in Spain. She will head the kitchen of a restaurant on a luxury yacht that will host guests during cruises around the island of Ibiza. The announcement notes that Martynovska will be responsible for the culinary aspect of the trips. She will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for guests, and the menu will feature Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, grilled meats, and traditional Spanish paella.

The organization noted: “Olga Martynovska will become the head chef of BEEF Yacht Tour Ibiza—a person who knows how to turn every day of the trip into a unique culinary experience. Breakfasts to the sound of the waves, lunches in picturesque coves, paella, seafood, grilled meats, dinners at sunset, and food prepared with love.”

Martynovska herself also commented on this new phase in her career. She shared her thoughts on the culinary profession and recalled the words of renowned Italian chef Massimo Bottura. “Cooking is an act of love,” she quoted the chef, adding that she was only able to fully understand the true meaning of these words after many years of work. The news of her work abroad came amid a public outcry that followed an interview with Martynovska. In it, she spoke about instances of animal abuse she experienced as a child. Her words sparked a wave of criticism on social media and lively discussion among users.

Despite this, the tour organizers have already published an official announcement regarding Martynovska’s participation in the yacht-based culinary project. They introduced her as the head chef for the upcoming trips and emphasized that she will be responsible for the culinary concept of the guests’ vacation.

So far, Olga Martynovskaya herself has not publicly linked her new job to the scandal surrounding her remarks. In her comments, she speaks only of her new professional experience and the opportunity to work in an unusual setting on the coast of Ibiza. The organizers of the BEEF Yacht Tour Ibiza announced her new appointment.

As a reminder, a memorial stele will be unveiled in Lviv to mark the second anniversary of the death of linguist, civic activist, and politician Iryna Farion. It will be located on Tomáš Masaryk Street—at the spot where Farion was fatally wounded.
