Belarusian authorities explain blocking of crypto exchange websites due to legal violations
The Ministry of Information of Belarus announced that the blockade of popular cryptocurrency exchange websites occurred because their pages contained improper advertising of crypto services, violating Belarusian advertising laws. As a result, users in the country lost access to these platforms.
This was reported by Russian propaganda media
The government emphasized that the measures aimed to enforce advertising regulations and protect the population from potentially unlawful information related to cryptocurrencies.
Further restrictions may follow if violations in advertising are not addressed.
