Eurobank repurchased 1.31 million shares for €6.14 million — Cyprus Mail

Eurobank repurchased 1,313,681 of its own shares on Euronext Athens in Athens, Greece, for €6.14 million. The transactions were conducted from September 14 to 18, 2026, under a share buyback programme. As Cyprus Mail reports, the average purchase price was €4.6710 per share.

Transaction volume

Over five trading sessions, the bank spent €6,136,138.34. Upon completion of the transactions, Eurobank held 27,131,714 treasury shares. The purchases were carried out through the investment firm Eurobank Equities Single Member Investment Firm.

The largest daily buyback volume was recorded on September 17: the bank acquired 310,447 shares for €1,446,243.72. The average price that day was €4.6586, while the lowest and highest prices were €4.6180 and €4.7360, respectively.

Daily purchases

On September 14, Eurobank bought 239,818 shares for €1,123,562.17 at an average price of €4.6851. The following day, the bank acquired 269,064 shares for €1,251,898.09, and on September 16, it purchased 240,322 shares for €1,131,196.43.

On September 18, Eurobank completed the series of transactions by purchasing 254,030 shares for €1,183,237.93. The bank’s annual general meeting approved the buyback programme on April 28, 2026, in accordance with Article 49 of Law 4548/2018. The board of directors approved its implementation on April 29, and the launch of the programme was announced on June 10.
