HSBC in Singapore offers Premier Elite to affluent clients — Channel NewsAsia
In Singapore, HSBC offers the Premier Elite service to clients with a total relationship balance with the bank of at least S$1.2 million or the equivalent. In a Channel NewsAsia article marked as advertorial, the bank said the service combines personalised wealth management advice, international banking support, and privileges in leisure, travel and medical services.
Investment solutions
According to HSBC, Premier Elite clients have access to Chief Investment Office research, closed investment forums and discussions, as well as relationship managers and wealth management specialists. They can tailor strategies to clients’ goals and risk appetite.
For eligible clients, the bank may offer investment products for accredited investors, structured products, fixed-income instruments, premium financing and loans secured by investment assets. HSBC also cited an example of financing against existing investments that was intended to allow a client to begin estate planning without withdrawing funds from a business.

International and medical services
HSBC says Premier Elite is designed for clients with assets, businesses or family in different countries. The service’s features include international transfers, fee-free cash withdrawals at HSBC ATMs worldwide, emergency cash access and recognition of Premier status in other countries.
The Global View service allows users to view relevant HSBC accounts across different jurisdictions on one platform. The bank also reported the possibility of transferring credit history between certain countries and matching status to establish banking relationships when relocating or entering new markets.
Privileges include a 24-hour medical concierge, assistance in arranging private consultations and second medical opinions in selected Asian countries. According to HSBC, its partner network includes more than 45,000 clinicians and medical specialists. Premier Elite clients using the HSBC Premier Mastercard Credit Card may receive up to six complimentary golf games per year, airport lounge access, limousine rides, concierge services and offers at Michelin-starred restaurants.
