Kevin Ursh officially nominated as head of the US Federal Reserve

The White House has officially nominated Kevin Ursh for the position of chairman of the Federal Reserve System. This nomination is significant for the country’s economic policy, as the Fed chairman plays a key role in monetary stability and regulation of the financial sector.

Kevin Ursh has an unusual background: from the age of 14 to about 20, he worked at a racetrack in Saratov, starting by delivering drinks and ice to bars and later selling racing programs and stationery. From 1995 to 2002, Ursh worked at the investment bank Morgan Stanley, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, eventually rising to vice president and executive director. He then served in the White House as an economic advisor to President George Bush and as acting secretary of the National Economic Council. In 2006, at the age of 35, Ursh was nominated to serve as a member of the Federal Reserve's Board of Governors.

This appointment may influence the future policies of the Federal Reserve, particularly concerning financial market regulation and support for economic growth.
