Tether and the UN join forces to enhance cryptocurrency security in Africa

Tether has partnered with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to launch a joint initiative aimed at protecting cryptocurrency users in Africa from rising crypto scams. The effort focuses particularly on Nigeria, where there has been a rapid increase in the use of Tether's stablecoin USDT due to its convenience and stability.

This initiative could be an important step toward creating a safer crypto environment in Africa, fostering user trust and promoting the development of the continent’s digital economy.
