Scammers target Trezor and Ledger cold wallet owners with phishing attacks
Users of Trezor and Ledger cold wallets have started receiving phishing letters supposedly from customer support. These letters urgently ask recipients to complete an "account verification" by entering their seed phrase via a QR code to prevent account blocking.
After entering the phrase, scammers gain full access to the victim’s cryptocurrency wallet and drain the funds. Security experts warn users to ignore such messages and alert their friends and family about this threat.
