Dangerous "triangle of death": girl’s face severely swollen after popping a pimple

Medical professionals warn that the region from the corners of the mouth to the bridge of the nose should never be tampered with, as infections can quickly travel through venous vessels to the brain. Lindsay required a month of treatment for the swelling to subside, but a visible scar remained at the site of the pimple.
