China publishes blue book on Alzheimer’s disease — ECNS
In Beijing, China, a 2026 “blue book” on the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease was released. The document called for strengthening community-level prevention, early screening, and the creation of a more comprehensive prevention and care system.

Recommended measures
The “blue book” proposes creating a system that would cover prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and care. Recommendations include strengthening health education in communities, developing screening and patient referral mechanisms, and promoting healthier lifestyles.
The document also called for increased investment in scientific research, innovative medicines, and new approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
